A gear lever hand grip is shaped like an inverted stirrup having a transverse bar 4 profiled or moulded to an undulated form at 4<SP>1</SP> to assist finger grip, an extension 2 having a cylindrical, truncated conical or alternative shaped hole 3 for fitting to the end of a gear lever (not shown) by force-fitting, threading or securing by adhesive. As shown in Fig. 1, the transverse bar 4 is separately formed and retained in place by a screwed rod 5 and disc nuts 6 recessed into the fork body 1, whilst in Fig. 3 the whole grip is formed as an integral one-piece member. |
