PURPOSE: A method for sending a text message in a font of a user in a mobile terminal is provided to allow a user to input his/her own letters to a sensor and stores them in the user's own specific font. CONSTITUTION: A user selects a menu for storing a user's own font in a standby state of a mobile terminal(S300,S301). The user inputs letters to a sensor of the mobile terminal(S302). The letters received one by one are stored as an image in a font DB of the mobile terminal(S303). Until all the letters of an initial sound, a medial vowel and a final consonant of the font DB are inputted, the same letters are repeatedly inputted(S304). The received letters are stored in a desired specific font(S305). The user's own font is stored together with a message indicating that the user's own font has been stored(S306).
