PURPOSE: A cushion of an airbag module for a vehicle is provided to support the head of the driver accurately, and to reduce impact by inflating surrounding portions of the cushion and depressing the center of the cushion and by preventing gas from being concentrated on the center of the cushion. CONSTITUTION: A cushion of an airbag module for a vehicle is installed in a module bracket(3) by a retainer(2), and an inflator(4) is mounted in the lower part of the module bracket. A circular gas inlet(1a) is formed in the cushion, and the upper body of the inflator is inserted to the circular gas inlet. A diffuser(6) is formed in the gas inlet to supply gas generated from the inflator to the outer edge first. The diffuser is composed of a flat part contacted to the retainer and a curved part combined with the flat part by sewing and opened up and down.
