PURPOSE: A power supply apparatus is provided to supply a driving voltage of a number of devices respectively by boosting a power supply voltage. CONSTITUTION: The power supply apparatus has a boosting circuit to boost a power supply voltage for driving a liquid crystal panel. The boosting circuit is used in common as a boosting circuit for a light emitting device. A common boosting circuit outputs a preliminary boosting voltage for driving light emitting devices(112,122) and a liquid crystal panel(140) in common by boosting a power supply voltage. A light emitting device driving circuit supplies a light emitting device driving voltage on the basis of the preliminary boosting voltage. A liquid crystal driving circuit supplies a liquid crystal driving voltage on the basis of the preliminary boosting voltage.
