The paintbrush has a flat or round head with bristles, a threaded projection (A) for connecting it to a detachable handle, a collector (B) made from rigid plastic, rubber or wood with converging walls (C, C') to catch surplus paint, and a clip (B') for attaching the brush to the rim of a paint pot. The handle has a threaded hole for attaching to the head projection, rounded and flat lateral surfaces, a tapering portion and a hole for hanging it up.
