PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL INCLUDING PROTECTIVE FILM MADE OF NANO POWDER MAGNESIUM OXIDE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce costs and improve efficiency by forming a protective film by mixing nano powder magnesium oxide with a solvent, coating the mixture on an upper dielectric layer, and drying and baking the resultant structure. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a protective film made of nano powder magnesium oxide of 100nm or smaller. A method for manufacturing a plasma display panel comprises a step of forming a discharge sustain electrode and an upper dielectric layer on an upper substrate; and a step of forming a protective film made of nano powder magnesium oxide on the upper dielectric layer.
