PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing stud bolts, wherein the apparatus is capable of substantially reducing cost by automatically manufacturing stud bolts on a cross section of which a conduction terminal for improving welding performance is formed by a multistage forming machine. CONSTITUTION: In a multistage stud bolt forming machine comprising a plural forming units(3,4) comprising supports(12-15) and punches(16-19), the apparatus for manufacturing stud bolts is characterized in that the forming units comprise a dented subsidiary forming unit(5) for forming a dented part on one side surface of rod shaped workpieces(9); a terminal mounting forming unit(6) for pressing and fixing a part of conduction terminal formed of a material having good conductivity such as aluminum into the formed dented part; a lot shaped conduction terminal receiving frame and an ordinary lot for workpieces extrusion that are arranged in holes of supports into which the rod shaped workpieces are inserted, wherein a conduction terminal receiving part is formed on a front part of the lot shaped conduction terminal receiving frame, and the ordinary lot for workpiece extrusion is inserted into the receiving frame from the outer side such that the ordinary lot for workpiece extrusion is freely receded from the receiving frame; and a conduction terminal supply means for supplying one conduction terminal into a moving hole of the receiving frame of the ordinary lot moved forward further than a front part of the receiving frame to extrude the workpieces, wherein the ordinary lot is receded by the rod shaped workpieces pressed into the supports so that the conduction terminal supplied into a receiving frame moving hole of the ordinary lot is pressed into the dented part of the cross section of the rod shaped workpieces by a conduction terminal receiving part in front of the receiving frame.
