PURPOSE: An installation structure of a battery is provided to prevent the pedestrian from being injured in bumping the pedestrian into an electrode part in the upper part of the battery by moving the battery downward and absorbing impact energy in applying impact from a hood panel placed in the upper part of the battery. CONSTITUTION: A battery installation structure with a lower bracket is composed of a battery(15) arranged in the lower part of a hood panel(11), a floor apron panel supporting the lower part of the battery, and a battery tray(17) installed between the lower part of the battery and the floor apron panel to fasten the battery. A battery moving space part(20) is formed in the lower part of the battery to absorb impact by moving the battery downward in applying impact from the upper part of the hood panel. The inner wall of the battery moving space part is inclined and narrowed in the lower part, and the clearance is formed between the battery tray and the side of the battery.
