PURPOSE: An antimalarial composition comprising spiro and dispiro 1,2,4-trioxolane is provided, which compound has improved pharmacokinetical properties including non-neurotoxicity, and improved stability and oral absorption, so that they are useful for prevention and treatment of malaria.
