In the field of mining an improvement in process flowsheet logic for the preparation of run-of-mine ore for a subsequent process step in which flowsheet simplification can be achieved by implementing at least one step of single-pass crushing to eliminate the conventional processing steps of screening, internal material re-handling an d the creation and accumulation of a rejects stream. The simplified facility has fewer items of equipment to maintain and is more amenable to relocation within the mining areas.
