BATTERY PLUG PROTECTION DEVICE OF AN ELECTRIC REACH TYPE FORKLIFT FOR FACILITATING MAINTENANCE AND SECURING SAFETY FROM AN ELECTRIC SHOCK OR BREAKAGE

PURPOSE: A battery plug protection device of an electric reach type forklift is provided to prevent breakage of a battery plug caused by shock, electric damage caused by breakage, and damage of a vehicle body, to easily separate a battery plug, and to facilitate mounting after charging a battery. CONSTITUTION: In a battery plug protection device of an electric reach type forklift, a plug(2) and a plug bracket(5) are fixed to a frame(3) having an L-shaped hole(11) by a fixing bolt(6). When a mounting and removing lever(1) pushes out a battery plug bracket(7), a bracket plug is moved from the plug along the L-shaped hole by the fixing bolt. Safety is secured in mounting and removing the battery plug as the battery plug is not completely separated from the L-shaped hole of the frame by a battery plug bolt(9) and a fixing device(10). The battery plug is separated at the end by moving the fixing device in a bending direction of the L-shaped hole of the frame to completely separate the battery plug. The re-mounting of the battery plug is facilitated by using the L-shaped hole of the frame.
