Method of obtaining active principle with detoxifying effects on skin by solubilizing at 50 g/l or more a cake of karite (Butyrospermum parkii) in an at least 10% hydroglycolic solution of a glycol, acidifying to solubilize the active molecules, separation of soluble and insoluble phases by decantation, centrifugation and/or filtration and successive filtrations to clarify and concentrate the product obtained and the active principle so obtained.
