PURPOSE: An optical pickup and a disk drive device are provided to separately dispose the first magnetic circuit for focusing/tracking driving from the second magnetic circuit for tilt driving, thereby realizing a simplification when controlling an operation while improving sensitivity during a focusing operation. CONSTITUTION: A fixing block(10) is fixed to a mobile base. A mobile block(11) operates in focusing direction, tracking direction, and tilt direction, and maintains an objective lens(18). Supporting spring(15) connects the fixing block with the mobile block. A focusing coil(20) is connected while operating in the focusing direction of the mobile block. A tracking coil(21) is connected while operating in the tracking direction of the mobile block(11). A tilt coil(23) is connected while operating in the tilt direction. The first magnet(12) configures the first magnetic circuit(22) with the focusing/tracking coils(20,21). The second magnet(13) configures the second magnetic circuit(24) with the tilt coil(23). Tilt drivers operate the mobile block in tilt direction.
