PURPOSE: A gas injection molding machine and a forming method therewith are provided to prevent counter flow of gas into the gas injector without additional gas counter flow restricting units, and to restrict fingering by regulating injection time of gas to the cavity. CONSTITUTION: A gas injection molding machine(1) is composed of an injection mold(10) having a cavity(14), a gas injector(3) injecting resin and gas into the cavity of the injection mold, a resin gate(17) formed in the injection mold to inject molten resin from the gas injector to the cavity, a gas injection port(18) formed in the injection mold and spaced from the resin gate to inject gas to the cavity filled with resin, and a gas channel communicated with the gas injection port, formed in the cavity, filled with gas from the gas injection port and spaced from the resin gate to prevent gas from being streamed into the gas injector through the resin gate.
