PURPOSE: A method for automatically setting a network address in a wireless multi-hop network is provided to enable a mobile node to sense a movement by using a network IP, and to obtain gateway information or access point information within a new network, then to reduce a network overhead. CONSTITUTION: A node 1(201), a node 3(203), and a node 9(209) are connected to a node 3(303) and a node 5(305). To communicate with a node 8(308) as an access point, the node 1(201), the node 3(203), and the node 9(209) should search for a path up to the node 8(308). The node 1(201) transceives a message with a network B by a help of the node 3(303) or the node 5(305), while the node 3(303) and the node 5(305) transceive a message with a network A by a help of the node 1(201).
