摘要

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting an MBMS(Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service) is provided to prevent unnecessary data transmission between an SRNC(Serving Radio Network Controller) and a DRNC(Drift RNC) and enhance the efficiency of radio resources between the DRNC and an UE. CONSTITUTION: When a DRNC receives an MBMS attach request message, it transmits an attach response message including transmission mode status information to an SRNC depending on whether resource for maintaining an RRC(Radio Resource Control) connection mode status can be allocated. In this case, if resource for maintaining the RRC connection mode status can be allocated, the DRNC transmits transmission mode status information according to a type of an RB(Radio Bearer) to the SRNC. The transmission mode status information includes information on whether the RB is point-to-point or point-to-multipoint.
