PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus by which a wet umbrella can be drained by an efficient squeeze and the canopy cloth of the umbrella can be furled around its shank. SOLUTION: An annular member, in the center of which an umbrella hole for introducing an umbrella is formed is used. A relative torque is developed between the canopy cloth of the umbrella and the umbrella hole by this member.
