PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seed rice-treating apparatus which does not necessitate a conventional seed rice container or seed bag, can receive a larger amount of seed rice than the unit amount of a conventional seed rice bag in an immersion basket 15 to perform a hot water sterilization treatment, and can improve the efficiency of the work due to the saving and continuous work of the sterilization treatment. SOLUTION: This seed rice-treating apparatus is characterized by charging seed rice into the vertical immersion basket 15 capable of being utilized as the seed rice container and then immersing the immersion basket 15 in a hot water tank 7 to sterilize the seed rice with the hot water.
