PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem in a conventional ventilation duct of a ventilation unit which is constantly in an open state, and therefore there is an environment with different atmospheric pressures between indoors and outdoors even in a stopped state of a ventilation function, and harmful gas, offensive odor or the like flows in from the outside. SOLUTION: The ventilator is composed of an air duct having a blowout opening and a suction opening guiding indoor air from a heat exchanger, a blower sending indoor air from the suction opening out of the blowout opening, a motor driving the blower, and the ventilation unit capable of carrying out at least one ventilation of exhaust ventilation or air supply ventilation, and it is composed so that a change-over between exhaust ventilation and air supply ventilation is carried out by rotating the blower itself.
