PURPOSE: A transmit-receive system in a repeater and a method thereof are provided to obtain sufficient isolation by using a receiving antenna having a polarization direction and a transmitting antenna having the same polarization direction as the receiving antenna. CONSTITUTION: A transmit-receive system in a repeater(200) comprises a receiving antenna(210) and a transmitting antenna(220). The receiving antenna(210) has an RHCP(Right Hand Circular Polarization) or LHCP(Left Hand Circular Polarization) direction in order to receive a signal transmitted from a base station or a gap filter. The transmitting antenna(220) has the same polarization direction as the receiving antenna(210). In other words, if the polarization direction of the receiving antenna(210) is RHCP, the repeater(200) uses the transmitting antenna(220), of which the polarization direction is RHCP. In case that the polarization direction of the receiving antenna(210) is LHCP, the repeater(200) uses the transmitting antenna(220), of which the polarization direction is LHCP.
