AUTO BATTERY EXCHANGE SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC GUIDED VEHICLE USING AUTOMATIC AND CONTINUOUS EXCHANGING METHOD

PURPOSE: An automatic battery exchange system for an automatic guided vehicle is provided to reduce the exchanging time of a battery by an automatic and continuous exchanging operation. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal movement plate(140) capable of moving in the direction of right or left is used for loading, charging and storing of battery(10). The horizontal movement plate is driven by a driving unit(160). The loading/unloading of the battery to/from the horizontal movement plate of the battery is done by a gripper(120). The gripper linked with the battery through a knob of the battery is moved up and down by a vertical movement unit(130) joined with the gripper. The vertical movement unit is driven by a driving unit(150). The transfer up to the gripper position after the loading/unloading of the battery to/from an automatic guided vehicle is done by a pusher(110) capable of moving in the direction of before or behind.
