<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intensify the fitting strength of a cap onto a container mouth, in a screw type cap. <P>SOLUTION: The outer periphery of the mouth of this container is formed with a multiple thread screw comprising a plurality of screw threads. The interference part on which a screw thread rides when the cap is tightened is formed protrusively at the lower side near the end of each thread. A recess is formed close to the end of the interference part, and a stopping part is formed protrusively still closer to the end. A protrusion protruding downward is formed at each start point of the threads.
