<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further surely remove foreign matter such as chips sticking to a tapered part and a flange part being a joining part to a main spindle of a tool. <P>SOLUTION: Tool cleaning nozzles 9a and 9b for delivering a coolant liquid are arranged on both sides of the main spindle 6 in a revolving position of a turret 4. The coolant liquid delivered from the tool cleaning nozzles 9a and 9b is held in a position and an attitude so as to strike on the tapered part 3a and the flange part 3b being the joining part with the main spindle 6 of the tool 3 held by the turret 4. The coolant liquid 30 is delivered from the tool cleaning nozzles 9a and 9b by interlocking with revolution of the turret 4 when selecting the tool. Every time when the turret 4 revolves, the tapered part 3a and the flange part 3b of the tool 3 held by the turret 4 are cleaned by the coolant liquid 30. Even if the foreign matter such as chips sticks to the standby tool held by the turret 4, since the foreign matter is cleaned when the turret revolves, the foreign matter such as chips can be surely removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
