<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and inexpensively provide a remote control system for a vehicle capable of enhancing receiving performance at a receiving unit side in a cabin by avoiding influence of an electric wave shielding article. <P>SOLUTION: The remote control system for the vehicle is provided with a transmitter for transmitting an electric wave from the outside the cabin; and the receiving unit for in the cabin receiving a signal from the transmitter. A vehicle component made of metal and arranged below a floor panel constituting a vehicle body and the receiving unit in the cabin are connected through an electricity feed wire and are constituted as an antenna for receiving the electric wave from the transmitter. For example, an exhaust route so as to discharge the exhaust gas constituted from a plurality of members made of metal can be used as the vehicle component.
