<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent with a reduced possibility of growth of a thrombus by coating the outer and inner surfaces with a polymer film which can flexibly follow the deformation and expansion of a stent body. <P>SOLUTION: The stent 1 comprises the stent body 10 made of an expansible tubular mesh, a cylindrical outer polymer film 2 layered on the outer surface of the stent body 10, and a cylindrical inner polymer film 3 layered on the inner surface of the stent body.
