<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical printhead which is equipped with a fine adjustment mechanism cable of adjusting the height of a lens while measuring it. <P>SOLUTION: This optical printhead is equipped with a radiator 11 whereon a flat placement surface 11<SB>1</SB>is formed, a long substrate 13 which is arranged on the placement surface, a plurality of light-emitting diodes 14 which are arranged in such a manner as to be aligned in the long direction of the substrate 13, a lens array 15 which is located above the light-emitting diodes, a holder 16 to which the lens array is fixed, and a means 18 which is interposed between the holder 16 and the placement surface 11<SB>1</SB>so as to adjust the height of the holder. The height adjusting means 18 is compose of an elastically deformable metal spacer member; the holder 16 is fixed to the placement surface 11<SB>1</SB>along with the metal spacer member by means of a screw 20<SB>1</SB>; and the height of the holder 16 can be changed by strengthening/weakening the fastening of the screw 20<SB>1</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
