PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet ray radiation equipment provided with a tube shaped electric discharge container and a radiation property with no symmetry in revolution. SOLUTION: The ultraviolet ray radiation equipment (1) is provided with the tube shaped electric discharge container (2) designed to produce single sided dielectric barrier discharge and with both sides sealed airtight and at least one vertically long internal electrode (6) and external electrodes (8a, 8b), which are each faced to be in parallel to the longitudinal axis of the electric discharge container. When it is assumed that a tube part (5) of the electric discharge container (2) is divided into two same half-tube parts, at least one internal electrode (6) is installed on an inner side of a first virtual half-tube part by a holder (7). At least one of the external electrodes (8a, 8b) is installed outside the second virtual half tube part and in the case when there is just one internal electrode and one external electrode, they are mutually installed on the diameter of the tube shaped electric discharge container (2).
