PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a keypad for push-button switch of which manufacturing process is simple without using precision dies and jigs for providing a groove and a slit and in which the space between the adjoining keytops is narrow, and small sizing is possible without impairing operability. SOLUTION: This is the manufacturing method of a keypad 4 for push-button switch which has a cover member 5 equipped with a plurality of protrusions 7 corresponding to the number of required movable contacts 3 on the upper side of a base part 17 having elasticity and a keytop 6 provided on the upper side of the protrusions 7. The cover member 5 is formed by molding in one body the base part 17 and the protrusions 7 by an elastic resin material, and a plate member 16 for the keytop of one body construction is jointed to the upper face of the protrusions 7 of the cover member 5 molded in one body, and by cutting the portion excluding the jointing part with the protrusions 7 of the plate member 16 for the keytop, the keytop 6 independent for each protrusion 7 is formed.
