METHOD FOR PRODUCING STYRENIC RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for production with which reaction control is simple to hardly cause gelation and the production efficiency can be improved to afford a resin composition of a linear polystyrene and a multibranched polystyrene having excellent molding processability. SOLUTION: The method for producing a styrenic resin composition comprising the linear polystyrene and the multibranched polystyrene is characterized as follows. A mixture containing a styrene monomer and a multibranched macromonomer having especially 0.3-0.8 degree of branching and 0.1-5.5 mmol content of double bonds at the branching terminal based on 1 g of the multibranched macromonomer is continuously reacted in≥2 reaction vessels.
