PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a safe toilet seat heating which is quick to start and does not raise the temperature of the toilet seat too high. SOLUTION: A heated toilet seat includes a radiation type heating element 1-1 which is installed in the toilet seat, a toilet seat temperature detecting means 8 which detects the temperature of the toilet seat, a reflecting mirror 10 which reflects the radiation heat of the radiation type heating element 1-1 and a stepping motor 9 which is a turning means for the reflecting mirror 10, wherein the reflecting mirror 10 is turned to be located between the radiation type heating element 1-1 and the toilet seat to intercept the radiation heat from the radiation type heating element 1-1 when the temperature of the surface of the toilet seat is raised, so that an abnormal heating is controlled.
