PURPOSE: A suction nozzle assembly of a vacuum cleaner is provided to prevent the wall or furniture from being damaged or smeared, and to reduce noise in contacting the suction nozzle assembly to the wall or furniture by mounting the protection member in the suction nozzle assembly. CONSTITUTION: A suction nozzle assembly(400) of a vacuum cleaner is composed of a suction body(410) having a suction hole in the lower part, a connecting pipe(420) installed in the upper part of the suction body and communicated with the suction body, and a protection member(500) formed in the suction body easily contacted to the wall or furniture in cleaning and made of soft leather, rag or felt. The circumference of the suction body is surrounded by the protection member, and the protection member is formed around the circumference of the suction body by insert-molding or fastened by an additional fixing member.
