IMAGE OUTPUT SYSTEM, CONTROLLER, IMAGE DIVIDING METHOD, PROGRAM FOR IMPLEMENTING THE METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM STORED WITH THE PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output system that divides image data at a proper position and outputs them when paginated image data are divided and outputted, and to provide a controller, an image dividing method, a program for implementing the method, and a storage medium stored with the program.

SOLUTION: Once the size of the recording medium is specified, a division number calculation part 25 calculates the number of recording media needed when a corresponding size among sizes of image outputtable areas of a color laser printer 3 stored by sizes of recording media in an image area storage part 24 is read out and an image based upon the image data is divided and outputted by using specified recording media according to the size of the image outputtable area. Further, when an overlap width is specified so that the image is properly divided to the respective recording media, an image division part 27 performs processing for dividing the image based upon the image data stored in an image data storage part 20 to the respective recording media according to the specified overlap width and the calculated number of recording media.
