<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing the noise of a belt of an engine engaged with an AC generator pulley connected to an AC generator and a crankshaft pulley connected to a crankshaft of the engine. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes the control of a rotor current of the AC generator so that fluctuations in the rotor speed is synchronized with fluctuations in the crankshaft speed selectively and the noise is reduced by preventing great fluctuations in the belt tension. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
