<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust confining apparatus enabling a worker to perform work of digging up, transferring, or the like in a safe and sanitary environment by preventing dust and malodor from being scattered around. <P>SOLUTION: Covers 62, 63, 64 surrounding excavating means 15, 25, 35 of excavating machines 10, 20, 30 causing dust during excavation work, to form a dust confinement space 40 for confining dust.
