PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segment magnet and a motor capable of enhancing output torque by suppressing increase in radial size of a motor. SOLUTION: As compared with a conventional motor having a magnetic path in the radial direction of the motor, the inventive segment magnet 13 can increase the magnetic path length by suppressing increase in size. In the motor 30 employing the segment magnet 13, permeance can be enhanced by suppressing increase in radial size. As a result, output torque can be enhanced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
