PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector having an insulation body with good flatness, in which the positioning of a contact is precisely carried out when the body is formed. SOLUTION: The electric connector comprises an insulation body and a plurality of contacts. The insulation body being a rectangle has an engaging plane and two planes perpendicular to the engaging plane. Contacts are integrally held in the buck wall of an accommodation space. Channels are formed on the side face of the insulation body along the direction of length. Holes are opened in the positions corresponding to the contacts of the channels to therethrough.
