PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for affixing a label to a packet, inexpensive and easy in execution. SOLUTION: The method and the device 1 for affixing the label 2 to a cigarette packet 3 which is moved along a transfer path P1 and in a predetermined direction D1 are provided. In order to affix the label 2 to the packet 3, ejection heads 33 are sent along a sending path P2 by allowing the ejection heads 33 to rotate around mutually parallel axial lines 29 and 31 to move the ejection heads 33 in the radial direction relative to an axial line 31 out of the two axial lines.
