PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an optical information recording medium from being duplicated. SOLUTION: One part of user data is stored in a link region 48 of the optical information recording medium which is constituted of variable length packet format and in which user data is stored. Therefore, since one part of the user data is stored in the link region 48 where user data is not stored conventionally, when such optical information recording medium is duplicated, one part of the user data recorded in the link region 48 is not read by ordinary reading processing, so that the optical information recording medium in which data is omitted is duplicated, thereby preventing the optical information recording medium from being duplicated.
