PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle circumference visually recognizing device capable of sharing a camera device among vehicle types and modifying inclination of the scene reflected on a picked up image caused by the inclination of the attitude of the camera device, when the camera device is installed in a vehicle while the attitude is inclined so that one's own vehicle is reflected in an picked up image in at least one image pick-up direction. SOLUTION: In the vehicle circumference visually recognizing device 1, the camera device 3 is mounted to the vehicle in an inclined state of the attitude so that part of the own vehicle is reflected on the picked up image in at least one image pick-up direction of picked up images in respective image pick-up directions. The visually recognizing device 1 has an image processing section 7a for applying image processing of rotation to offset the inclination of the scene to a picked up image in which the scene reflected on the picked up image is inclined by the inclination of the attitude of the camera device 3, of the picked up images in respective image pick-up directions, and for displaying it on a display device 5.
