PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time period for drying washing in a washer/dryer. SOLUTION: The washer/dryer 100 includes a housing chamber 10 for housing the washing and carries out washing operation of the washing and drying operation after the washing operation in the housing chamber 10. The washer/dryer 100 includes a refrigerant circuit 20 composed by piping and connecting a compressor 21, a gas cooler 22, an expansion valve 23, and an evaporator 24 successively to form an annular circuit, an air circulation passage 72 for exhausting air subjected to heat exchange with the gas cooler 22 into the housing chamber 10 and subjecting the air from the housing chamber 10 to heat exchange with the evaporator 24 by a blower 75, and a controller 110 for carrying out drying operation by operating the compressor 21 and the blower 75.
