The square or rectangular transport container (1) for liquids consists of a sheet metal or plastics tank (2) inside a cage made of vertical (11) and horizontal (10) wires. The cage is fastened to a pallet type support with fittings at the bottom (12) similar to fittings on a normal pallet and engaging with a standard type of pallet support. There is a floor pan (13) with feet (14) at the corners (14a-d) and in the middle of the sides (14f,g). The assembly includes wooden planks (19). There is a central plank (16) and two side planks (17,18).
