PURPOSE: Fire-retardant wood powder is provided to recycle wood powder from waste wood to be used as incombustible building materials, have excellent strength and molding, and have the advantage of mass-production. CONSTITUTION: The fire-retardant wood powder is produced by the steps of: preparing wood powder; dipping the wood powder into a low purity of a ZnCl2 solution to form fiber-reinforced second particles; infiltrating CaO into the fiber-reinforced wood powder to be neutralized; washing the neutralized wood powder to eliminate residual materials; aging and drying the washed wood powder; and mixing the dried wood powder with a flame retardant. Additionally, the method contains a step of mixing an adhesive with the wood powder to be molded in a predetermined form. Washing material is one or more selected from sodium hydroxide, acetic acid or water. |
