A relay amplifier provided at a branching point of an electric power line in an electric power line communication for amplifying communication signals, comprising a plurality of signal couplers provided at the respective electric power lines on both sides of the branching point for transmitting/receiving the communication signals to/from the electric power lines; and an amplifier for amplifying the communication signals inputted from the plurality of signal couplers.
