<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface system for maintenance manuals for enabling an unexperienced maintenance engineer to reliably and quickly perform the maintenance of machinery. <P>SOLUTION: A non-volatile storing means 5 stores: an integral control chart constituted of an integral plane control chart and an integral solid control chart; a plane detail chart and a solid detail chart showing the details of the individual parts of the control chart; detail information associated with the plane detail chart and the solid detail chart; and manual information associated with the plane detail chart and the solid detail chart.
