<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent injection of a card from an insertion port, when the card is blocked in card-processing equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The card-processing equipment 1 convey a card 2 inserted into the insertion port 3 to the inside by a roller 4 and performs reading and writing to the card 2 by a magnetic head 15 or IC contact head 16. When abnormal condition, such as the card 2 blocking near a card detection sensor 6 is detected, by having the periphery of an eccentricity cam 10, the surface of the card 2 contacting the eccentricity cam 10 rotate, centering about an axis of rotation 11. Injection of the card 2 from the insertion mouth 3 is prevented by the friction force, when they contact. At this time, when the card is taken out from the insertion port, the eccentricity cam rotates further by the friction force between the card and the eccentricity cam.
