<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus allowed to be made low-cost and small-sized. <P>SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus, light emitted from a first read part A is reflected by a total reflection mirror 16 and then is reflected by a total reflection mirror 18 and is transmitted through a half prism 19 and is received by a CCD. Meanwhile, light emitted from a second read part B is reflected by a total reflection mirror 17 and then is reflected by the half prism 19 is received by the CCD. Consequently, images of two read parts A and B placed on one plane can be picked up by one CCD, and the total reflection mirror 18, the half prism 19, and the CCD are arranged on one optical axis L1, so that the imaging apparatus can be made low-cost and small-sized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
