THERMAL TYPE FLOW MEASURING INSTRUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal type flow measuring instrument capable of measuring precisely a flow rate without deteriorating a flow measuring characteristic caused by deposition of an impurity such as a salt onto a heating resister.

SOLUTION: The heating resister 7 is arranged in a sub-passage 6. An intake air flow rate for an internal combustion engine is detected by a heat radiation amount of the heating resister 7. A surface tension of a liquid drop including the salt deposited on the heating resister 7 is destructed by a liquid drop elimination member 12 to be flow-separated from the heating resister 7.
