PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency heating device with steam generating function having satisfactory heating efficiency, in which water, when dropped onto an evaporation pan, can be evaporated at a remarkably increased speed. SOLUTION: This high frequency heating device with steam generating function comprises a high frequency generation part; and a steam generation part comprising the evaporation pan provided on the bottom surface of a heating chamber for housing a matter to be heated and a heater device for heating the evaporation tray, which generates steam in the heating chamber. The heater device is a heater device 11 comprising a sheath heater 113 buried in an aluminum die cast 111, which is directly mounted on the reverse side of the evaporation pan 22.
