PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the flapping, buckling and breakage of the edge of an endless belt due to duration with a low-cost constitution, in a fixing device using the endless belt as a fixing belt for an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The endless belt is provided with at least one rubber layer formed on the outer periphery of a metal or resin film, the edge of the endless belt is covered with the rubber layer, then, stress concentration due to the biasing of the edge of the endless belt is prevented.
