PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit to easily align a cradle at the top surface of a manhole with the road surface. SOLUTION: A manhole cradle 6 is divided equally into 3 portions in the direction of circumference; guide devices 1B which hold screw members 1f in the vertical direction are provided in such a manner that the screw members become rotatable about the shaft and are slidable in up-down direction; the screw member is screwed from the bottom side of the cradle and has a nut 1D which can be screwed until its part 1i is contacted to the bottom surface of the cradle; a handle 1g is located at the top end of the screw member; respective guide piece is coupled by a supporting device; and each guide piece has a supporting member 1c which can be placed on the cradle through a supporting member 1c.
